Roselle Hinds, 95 years old, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away on 10/29/23 at Ripley Crossing.
Roselle was born on May 17, 1928 to Porter and Cora (Alexander) Stephens in Allardt, TN.
Roselle worked as a Sales Clerk for Stephens Dollar Store and was a member of the First Church of God in Lawrenceburg, IN. She was a strong Christian woman who loved the Lord. She loved spending time with her family and was loving and generous to everyone she met. She had a quick-witted humor that made everyone laugh. She also loved everything about birds and enjoyed crocheting.
Roselle is survived by her loving daughter, Melba (Ervin) Hauser of Aurora, IN; her granddaughter, Jessica (Matt) Richards; her great-grandchildren, Jacob and Jenna Guthrie, and Ava, Olivia, and Isaiah Richards.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Wheeler Jerome Hinds; her granddaughter, Stephanie Guthrie; and her siblings Clay, Clyde, Ray, Carrie, Hattie, Hazel, and Betty.
Visitation will be held at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home 219 Mechanic St. Aurora, IN 47001 on Friday November 3, 2023 from 5-8pm.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 4, 2023 at 11am with Don Pierce officiating.
Burial will take place at the River View Cemetery.
