Ronald “Ron” E. Buchanan, 88, of Harrison, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at the Hospice of Cincinnati. Ron was born on Sunday, December 9, 1934 in North Bend, Ohio; son of Charles “Charlie” and Juanita (Tague) Buchanan. Ron married the love of his life, Jane (Morgan) Buchanan, in 1954. Ron raised beef cattle and was a restaurant owner. Ron was also Trustee of Moores Hill. He was member of the Columbia F & AM #44 in Miamitown, Ohio and was later a member of the Shriners. Ron enjoyed reading, watching TV, and living on the farm and raising beef cattle. Ron most of all loved his family and grandchildren.
Ron will be missed by his wife, Jane Buchanan of Harrison, Ohio; sons Kristopher “Kris” (Carol) Buchanan of Fort Collins, Colorado and Ronald “Erik” (Mindy) Buchanan of Dallas, Texas; daughters Kathleen Buchanan Kinnett of Cincinnati, Ohio and Lisa (Francisco) Godoy of Miami, Florida; nine grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Juanita Buchanan.
There are no services planned at this time. Memorials may be given in honor of Ron to Shriners Hospital for Children.
