Robin M. Tingle

Robin M. Tingle, age 61 of Batesville, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville.  Born December 12, 1962, in Batesville, she is the daughter of Alvin and Therese (Nee: Nunlist) Nobbe.  She married Richard “Wayne” Tingle on November 18, 1983, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Oldenburg, Indiana.  Robin was a homemaker and a 1984 graduate of Batesville High School.

Robin had a way with animals, as she always had a dream to be a veterinarian. She has collections (I mean, collections) of photos she took herself and from her trail cam so she could see the wildlife that came to visit and capturing nature. Robin also had a green thumb. She loved spending time taking care of her flowers and keeping life around her beautiful. She kept her life busy at home with her high school sweetheart living their best life together. She never let life get her down. She loved being an aunt to all of her nieces and nephews, but not as much as she loved being a grandma to Cindy Lou and Mikey.

She is survived by her husband Richard “Wayne” of Batesville; daughter Tiffany (Michael) McMillan of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; grandchildren Cindy, Lou, and Michael; sister Mary (Roger) Collins of Batesville; brothers Dennis Nobbe of Martinsville, Indiana and Matt (Marla) Nobbe of Batesville, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Robin was loved by Wayne’s siblings and longtime friends, Thresa (Dale) Hooten, Robin (Will) Weaver, Carolyn (Ted) Nobbe, Anita (Gary) Merkel, Glenda Suttman, David Tingle, Mark Tingle, Bobby Tingle, Cletus Suttman, and Glenn (Debbie) Suttman.

In addition to her parents, Robin was preceded in death by her brother Marvin Nobbe.

Visitation is Thursday, September 19th, from 10 – 11 a.m., at Weigel Funeral Home in Batesville.  Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., at the funeral home with Pastor Chad Schwering officiating.  The burial will be at the Holy Family Cemetery in Oldenburg.  Memorial donations may be made to the family to offset expenses.  For online condolences go to www.weigelfh.com.
