Roberta “Bert” Belle Neff, 89, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Monday, September 26, 2022, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
She was born March 25, 1933, in Mount Sterling, KY, daughter of the late Willie B Jefferson and Grace (Thompson) Jefferson.
She worked as a waitress for Wildridges Restaurant for several years.
Bert was a member of Moores Hill Church of Christ. She was an animal lover especially, her cats Black and Stubby. She enjoyed watching birds, her flower garden, cooking and baking. Some of her special dishes were cornbread, fudge, baked beans and her biscuits and gravy, to name a few. She liked to take rides and vacation in the Smokey Mountains. Family was always most important to her and she loved spending time with children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Bert is survived by her loving children, Sheila (Seaver) Maybrier of Milan, IN, Danny Seaver of Roseville, CA, Paul Fix of Aurora, IN, Kevin Fix of Rising Sun, IN, Lisa Neff of KY, Johnny (Anita) Neff of KY, Teresa (Bob) Sharp of Aurora, IN, Tony (Valorie) Neff of Aurora, IN, Bridget Neff of Aurora, IN; sister, Sue Kincade of Lawrenceburg, IN; daughter_In-law, Rita (late, Butch) Seaver, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, Willie and Grace Jefferson; husband, John Francis Neff; sons, Butch Seaver and Mike Fix; brothers, Elgin Jefferson, Paul Jefferson; sisters, Lois Barrett, Donna Mitchell, Judy Boggs;
Friends will be received Friday, September 30, 2022, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Moores Hill Church of Christ, 13567 State Road 350, Moores Hill, IN.
Services will be held at the Church, Friday at 2:00 pm following visitation.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
