Robert “Butch” Marion Myers, 65, of Dillsboro passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 at St. Elizabeth in Edgewood, Kentucky. Butch was born on Sunday, February 23, 1958 in Milan; son of Estel and Pauline (Burkhart) Myers. Butch worked at Baylor Trucking for 15+ years as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed spending time riding his motorcycle, going fishing, and going to drag races. Butch also enjoyed talking on his CB radio where he gained the nickname, “Soundwave.”
Butch will be missed by his son Steven (Stacey Grubbs) Myers of Dillsboro; daughter Erica (Derek Clemons) Barnhill of Dillsboro; brothers Ronnie (Connie) Myers of Milan and Billy Eldridge; and grandchildren Isabelle Myers, Aidan Myers, and Madison Barnhill.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents Estel and Pauline Myers.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan with a service immediately following provided by the family at 6:00 PM. Memorials may be given in honor of Butch to the Donor’s Choice.
