(Ripley/Decatur Counties, IN) – Officials in Ripley and Decatur counties have lifted burn bans that were put in place last week because of dry conditions.
Tuesday’s rains coupled with more in the forecast later this week prompted commissioners and public safety officials in both counties to rescind the bans.
However, burn bans were still in effect in Franklin and Dearborn counties as of Wednesday morning.
