(Ripley County, IN) – The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit and run earlier this month along State Road 350 near Osgood.
Deputies say it happened on December 1 when a pickup truck damaged property and left scene, then headed west on 350.
There were no injuries reported.
Over the weekend, they asked the public for help in finding the driver and the vehicle.
Deputies were able to identify and locate the vehicle’s owner based on tips from the public.
The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office wrote on social media, “The investigation is ongoing and we thank the community for the assistance that they have provided.”
