Ripley County Community Foundation announces new location, grant awards

Batesville, In. —  The Ripley County Community Foundation has announced a move from their current location at 4 South Park Avenue to 13 East George Street. The new office will open for business on December 1.

Recently, the foundation awarded $49,955 to 17 local non-profit organizations in Ripley County as part of the Large Grant program. Here are the details:

The large Grant Program is available one time per-year for amounts up to $5,000. The projects must meet the Foundation’s grant guidelines and policies. Organizations may apply for a large project grant and one small project grant each year. Organizations which receive a community impact grant are NOT eligible for a large grant or a small grant in the year in which they receive the community impact grant. Any funds received for a previous grant must be spent before an organization.

Applications being accepted for the Small Grant program until December 1, 2017. The Small Grant program is available throughout the year for amounts up to $500. The projects must meet the Foundation’s grant guidelines and policies. Organizations may only apply for one small project grant each year; they may also apply for a large grant if they receive a small project grant.

Any funds received for a previous grant must be spent before an organization may apply for another grant and all grant reporting must be current.
