Brookville, IN — Reid Health took the wraps off its new Brookville area Primary and Specialty Care facility Wednesday evening.

Longtime Brookville primary care providers Scott Marsteller, M.D., and Nurse Practioner Katie Marker will start seeing patients at the 20,000,000-square-foot facility on State Road 101 north of Brookville starting Monday.

Behavioral health, cardiology, OB/GYN and rehab services will be offered beginning next week.

Lab services, X-rays, audiology, ear-nose-and-throat (ENT) and podiatry services will also be offered at the facility, but starting dates for those have not been determined.

Dr. Marsteller says patients will love the facility and will be more than satisfied with the medical offerings.

“They can just come here and get almost all of their health care needs met, and they don’t have to travel out of town to get the care they need,” Marsteller said. “And it’s going to coordinate the care we already do. We have to track down lab results or X-ray results. They’re going to be right here.”

Hospital President and CEO Craig Kinyon said in opening remarks that the new facility represents a $10 Million investment by Reid into the Brookville/Franklin County area.

State Rep. Lindsay Patterson (R-Brookville) says the facility’s opening will have positive ripple effects.

“The $10 Million investment Reid is making in our community is much appreciated and a demonstration of their committment to the future of Brookville and Franklin County,” Patterson said. “Not only will this new facility itself bring more jobs to the area, but it can also serve as the springboard for other businesses to make similar investments here.”

Patterson, hospital officials and staff plus Town of Brookville and Franklin County leaders took part in a ribbon cutting (pictured) following the opening ceremony.

The new digs sit on 5.7 acres and has 160 parking spaces and more than 20 examination rooms.

The center will replace Reid’s current facility on Main Street in downtown Brookville.
