(Greensburg, IN) – Decatur County Memorial Hospital (DCMH) has successfully completed its first hip replacement procedure using OrthoGrid Hip AI®.
DCMH becomes the first hospital in the region to offer the advanced technology for eligible anterior hip replacement procedures.
OrthoGrid Hip AI® is a surgeon-guided technology that provides real-time guidance during surgery to support implant positioning based on each patient’s unique anatomy.
Used by fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon Dr. Eric Tannenbaum, the technology is designed to enhance surgical procedures without requiring additional incisions or implanted hardware.
“OrthoGrid allows me to confirm important measurements and make informed decisions with confidence during the procedure,” said Dr. Eric Tannenbaum, Medical Director of Orthopedics at DCMH. “It helps DCMH continue providing high-quality care tailored to each patient.”
