The Reds have lost back-to-back spring training games.
On Wednesday, Cincy fell 5-4 to the Athletics. Starting pitcher Valdimir Gutierrez got touched up early surrendering four runs, all earned, in the first inning.
On the bright side, Dauri Moreta fanned all three batters he faced in the seventh. Joey Votto tripled and knocked in two. And Max Schrock had a pair of singles with one RBI.
Things did not go well for Hunter Greene either on Thursday as the Reds hurler gave up seven runs, five earned, over two innings. Two of the five hits allowed went yard.
Schrock had another two-hit game. Jonathan India launched a solo dinger.
