Red Flag Warning in effect Thursday from Noon till 8 pm

(Southeastern IN) – A Red Flag Warning for wind and low humidity will go into effect at Noon and run through 8 o’clock tonight.

The National Weather Service says we can expect southwest winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, plus relative humidity as low as 22 percent.

Any fires that develop will likely spread quickly, and outdoor burning is not recommended.

Forecasters say those conditions, coupled with dry ground, make it favorable for rapid fire growth.
