BATESVILLE, IN — A Milan woman was injured in a rear-end collision on State Road 229 at I-74 just before 1:30 last Wednesday afternoon.
Batesville Police said a 17-year-old girl was driving north on the 229 overpass approaching the westbound 74 exit ramp when she failed to stop and hit the back of a car driven by 65-year-old Barbara Brummett of Milan.
Brummett was treated at the scene, then taken by Batesville EMS to Margaret Mary Health for further evaluation.
Sergeant Chris Smith was the investigating officer and was assisted at the scene by Lieutenant Danny Hamilton, Patrolman
Stephen Sieverding, the Batesville Fire Department, and Batesville EMS.
