VERSAILLES, IN — The Ripley County Health Department is holding a Back to School childhood immunization clinic this week from 8 am until 5 pm each day.
“Usually, we’re only there till 4, but we’re trying to give parents an extra hour to get in there and get those done before you guys head back to school,” said Missy Byrd with the health department.
“So far, we have seen a lot of kindergartners who are going to school for the first time who need kindergarten shots, and we’ve also got sixth graders who need sixth grade shots,” Byrd added.
The walk-in clinic at the health department in Versailles runs Monday through Friday this week.
No appointment is necessary.
