RCCF Celebrates Year of Giving at Annual Meeting

(Batesville, IN) – The Ripley County Community Foundation hosted its annual meeting on June 25, welcoming over 200 community members, donors, and partners. The event served as a platform to celebrate the Ripley County Community Foundation’s achievements over the past year and express gratitude for the ongoing support that fuels their mission.

“We were thrilled with the turnout at this year’s annual meeting,” said Amy Streator, Executive Director at the Ripley County Community Foundation. “It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community, showcase our impact, and recognize the incredible individuals who make our work possible.”

A Year of Growth and Impact

2023 marked a significant year of growth for the Ripley County Community Foundation. Our commitment to serving Ripley County resonated with generous donors, resulting in the establishment of 12 new charitable funds. By year’s end, the Community Foundation’s assets surpassed $16 million, solidifying its position as a leading force for positive change in Ripley County. The Community Foundation is excited to leverage this growth and continue making a difference in the lives of our community members.

The RCCF: A Grantmaker with Impact

The Ripley County Community Foundation serves as a grantmaker, carefully stewarding charitable dollars. In 2023, the Ripley County Community Foundation’s impact was felt across the county. Through a strategic grantmaking process, we awarded 209 grants totaling over $410,000 back into Ripley County. These grants supported a diverse range of initiatives, from enriching arts programs and environmental projects to fostering economic development and promoting the health and well-being of our communities. This investment in our community directly impacted the lives of over 29,000 individuals, making a real difference for our neighbors.
