RCCF awards small grants to community

RIPLEY COUNTY, Ind. — The Ripley County Community Foundation recently announced small grants awarded to Ripley County non-profits in its fourth grant cycle of 2016.

These grants were made possible thanks to the Community Granting Funds administered through the Community Foundation.

The purpose of a small grant is to support local organizations with their short term, immediate needs.

The organizations receiving grants in the 4th cycle of 2016 are:

  • Jac-Cen-Del schools receiving $187 for Breakout EDU Kits
  • Milan High School receiving $500 for balances for chemistry
  • St. Louis Church receiving $500 for Families Helping Families for the Christmas Gifts for Kids
  • St. Louis School receiving $500 for a Literacy Intervention System
  • The Town of Osgood receiving $500 for a defibrillator in the town hall/community center
  • The Tyson Library receiving $500 for transforming Children’s space
  • The Versailles Kiwanis Club receiving $500 for Bring Up Grades Awards

The next deadline will be Friday, March 3rd.
