Raymond Ernest Meucci, 92, of Dillsboro, Indiana, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022.
He was born February 23, 1930, in Anderson, IN, son of the late Raymond Meucci and Josephine (Thompson) Meucci.
He served his country as a member of the United States Army. Ray was on the Honor Flight to Washington, DC on 9/20/2016. He was a member of the Dillsboro American Legion, and St. Mary’s Catholic Church, he also attended St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Ray loved auctions, and yard sales, he was a real “wheeler dealer”. He was a food distributor, a chef and he owned 3 bars in Cincinnati. He loved his dog, Lea Lea. Ray’s faith, family and country were very important to him and he will be deeply missed.
Raymond is survived by his loving spouse, Jacqueline (Martin) Meucci, children, Sherrie (late Dan), Ray (Kim), Robin (Dave), Kim (Melvin) Hudson, and Michael (Carol); grandchildren, Ashley, Daniel, Lindsey, Seth, Trent, Steven, Christopher, Michael, Sara, Drew, Nick, Billy, Michael, Brandon, Tyler, Hannah, Ryan, Nick, Kaylin, Madison, Adam, Evan and Michael; great-grandchildren, Michael, Destiney, Jasmine, Josselyn, Adalyn, Elizabeth, Eden, Rockwell, Mason, Parker, Mirielle, Aslyn, Ariana, Hunter, Liam and Bryler; great, great grandson, Michael.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Josephine.
Friends will be received Saturday, September 3, 2022, from 10:00-12:00 pm at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 203 Fourth Street, Aurora, IN. 47001.
Mass will be held at 12:00 pm at the church with Father Daniel Mahan officiating. Military services will be conducted by the Southeastern Indiana Honor Guard.
Private Interment will be at a later date in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio.
