BATESVILLE, IN — Diane Raver, Fund Development Coordinator at the Southeastern Indiana YMCA, received a big round of applause from staff and board members at the May Board of Director’s meeting for earning the YMCA S.O.A.R. Award (Service and Outstanding Achievement Recognition).

Since taking on a lead role in fund development for the Y two years ago, Raver has used her unique skills and expertise as a former Principal at a Catholic school, and reporter for a local newspaper, to write grants, press releases, and build community relationships.

She has successfully led a Capital Campaign raising over $150,000 with her development team.

“Diane exemplifies our core values at the Y with her caring, welcoming, and genuine team spirit. She is getting ready to kick off the Y’s Annual Campaign to support several valuable community programs and local families at the Y. Her efforts directly benefit the Y’s commitment to nurturing the potential of all members while giving back and supporting our neighbors,” said Angie Harmeyer, Chief Executive Officer, Southeastern Indiana YMCA.
