Southeastern, IN—Today is a messy day for weather. We are set for rain today transitioning to a rain/snow mix according to the National Weather Service. Rain is expected in most areas until early this afternoon with a wintry mix taking over by the evening and then some light snow showers up through midnight. Temperatures will be key according to NWS to when the snow starts.
The light snow could mean 1/2″ of snow or less in the southern parts of our listening area and possibly around 1″ in our northern listening areas. Roads will be slick for the evening drive home.
