Aurora, IN — A number of railroad crossings in the City of Aurora will be closed to thru traffic for construction work starting Monday.
The affected crossings are Gaff Street, Railroad Avenue, the West Fourth Street crossing near Exporting Street, Exporting/2nd Street, George Street, and Manchester Landing. The crossings are expected to be closed at least three days once they are shut down.
The following intersections will be open for detour traffic: Indiana Avenue, The West Fourth Street crossing near West Conwell Street, and Importing Street.
All crossings are expected to reopen by next Friday, June 25.
