Quannah F. Dixon, age 88, of Brookville, Indiana passed peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Ohio.
Born March 22, 1936, in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Cleo Chrysler Scott. On May 6, 1956, she was united in marriage to Rev. Glendon Carl Dixon Sr., and he preceded her in death on January 14, 2012.
Quannah spent her life as a homemaker. In her leisure time, she enjoyed drawing, painting, crocheting, and reading.
Survivors include two daughters, Faith (Brent) Riehle of Brookville, Indiana, Deborah (Lamar) Tindle of Anderson, Indiana; two sons, Chris (Gloria) Dixon of Brookville, Indiana and Paul (Tina) Dixon of Bainbridge, Indiana; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Bill Scott and Michael Scott, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Glendon Carl Dixon Jr., who died October 24, 1998; and two brothers, J.C. and Harvey Scott.
Family & friends may visit from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Pastor Steve Rundel will officiate the Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M., Friday, November 8, 2024 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, with burial following at Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
