Pursuit suspect escapes serious injuries in three state chase

Sunman, In. — A Thursday morning chase that began near the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport ended near Sunman with one arrest.

A report from Sgt. Stephen Wheeles from the Indiana State Police says the pursuit began at 7:40 a.m. and by 8 a.m. the subject crashed his Cadillac Escalade into the back of a semi truck on westbound I-74 at the Sunman exit. (Beginning of the construction zone) Reports indicate a Lawrenceburg police officer pursued the subject at speeds of over 100-miles-per-hour.

The unnamed suspect was captured after a short foot pursuit.

Multiple agencies in three states are investigating the matter.
