(Sunman, IN) – The public is invited to join the Sunman Rural Fire Department Monday evening to remember the nearly 3,000 Americans, including 343 firefighters, who died in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Sunman firefighters will walk 3.43 miles in full turnout and Self Contained Breathing Apparatus air packs in remembrance of the lives that were lost on 9/11.
If you’d like to join in, you’re asked to meet at the Sunman Firehouse around 6 p.m. Monday.
The walk will start at 6:30 p.m.
