Brookville, In. — Officials in Franklin County say the estimated 20-percent city-share of the cost to repair the Fairfield Causeway Bridge will be about $320,000.
The total cost of the project will be about $1.6 million. The state will pick up about $1 million and a third party will pay to relocate the waterlines running through the bridge.
The bridge was built in 1972 and was determined to be fair to satisfactory following the most recent documented state inspection in October of 2016.
