(Dearborn County, IN) – More than 1,300 Duke Energy customers were without power yesterday afternoon in the Bright area, thanks to a vehicle damaging equipment.
The outage was reported shortly before 1 p.m., with service restored around 4:30.
The initial estimate was 7:15 p.m. before the juice would be back on.
A number of businesses closed because of the heat and a lack of air conditioning caused by the outage.
