(Ripley County, IN) – Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies and officers from several other agencies beefed up security Thursday following a reported threat made to a local business.
The location of the business and the nature of the threat were not disclosed.
Deputies say an investigation determined there were no direct or indirect threats to the business or nearby schools.
But as a precaution, Ripley County School Resource Officers were notified and heightened security in their buildings.
