Jackson County, In. — Troopers from Indiana State Police Sellersburg District made two arrests and confiscated more than a pound of methamphetamine, cash and paraphernalia during a Tuesday traffic stop on I-65 in Jackson County.
Troopers stopped a pickup truck because of a registration discrepancy and following too closely then made contact with Gregory Scott Nasby, 53, and Theresa Marie Burns, 46, both Columbus.
Following an alert by a canine officer police found one-and-a-quarter pound of suspected methamphetamine hidden under the truck, a small amount of marijuana, $4,500 in cash and a syringe.
Nasby has been charged with dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and dealing in marijuana.
Burns has been charged with dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hypodermic needle dealing in marijuana.
