Perfect announces reelection bid

Lawrenceburg, In. — Republican state senator Chip Perfect from Lawrenceburg has announced plans to run for reelection in the 43rd District in Indiana. Perfect said, “It has been an honor to serve my fellow Hoosiers in southeastern Indiana. I certainly have learned a lot in my first four years in the Indiana Senate. I look forward to putting that knowledge and experience to work for another term.”

Perfect was elected for the first time in 2014 and serves all or portions of Bartholomew, Decatur Jackson, Jennings, Ohio, Dearborn and Ripley Counties. Perfect is the assistant caucus chairman of the senate Republicans, chairman of the Senate Insurance and Financial Institutions Committee, member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Pension and Labor Committee, Tax and Fiscal Policy Committee and the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee.

The Indiana primary election will be held on May 8, 2018.
