Pamela Ruth Gauck, of Sunman, was born on May 20, 1958, the loving daughter of George and Ruth Walter (nee Fey). Pam graduated from Western Hills High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She drove a bus for the Sunman-Dearborn Community School Corporation for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed leatherworking, sewing, making jewelry, and spoiling her cats. Pam was a very independent person who held a special place in her heart for the children in the community whom she transported to and from school.
On Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the age of 68, Pam passed away unexpectedly at her home.
Those surviving who will cherish Pam’s memory include her sister, Sandra (Steven) Strunk; two nephews, Steven Strunk II and Samuel (Tori) Strunk; as well as numerous cousins. In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gauck; as well as several aunts and uncles.
Cremation was chosen and there will be no public services.
Memorial donations in honor of Pam may be directed to the Ripley County Humane Society. Donations may be mailed to 1202 W 150 N, Osgood, Indiana 47037.
