The Indiana Pacers clearly felt the absence of star guard Tyrese Haliburton in last night’s 127-117 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Head coach Rick Carlisle acknowledged the impact, as the defeat snapped Indiana’s six-game win streak.
Despite the setback, Pascal Siakam stepped up, leading the Pacers with 23 points. However, the game took a turn late when Benedict Mathurin was ejected after picking up two technical fouls, further complicating Indiana’s efforts to rally.
With the loss, the Pacers drop to 22-19 on the season. They’ll aim to bounce back Thursday when they face the Detroit Pistons in the Motor City.
