Pacers and Raiders draw 3-3 in boys soccer

Switzerland County and South Ripley played to a 3-3 draw during the Pacer Boys Soccer Senior Day Saturday.

Switzerland County started the scoring with a goal by Levi Curlin off a Landon Duckworth assist. Austin Bosaw followed that up with a goal off a free kick.

The Raiders Zach Gentile scored three goals in a row off a throw in, a penalty kick and a free kick to give South Ripley a 3-2 lead at the half.

The only goal of the second half was by the Pacers Cooper Todd on a penalty kick which tied the game 3-3.

Switzerland County coach David Todd reported the Pacers were outshot by the Raiders overall 27-20 and on goal 21-11.   Switz goalie Aiden Furnish had 18 saves.  The Pacers are now 9-3-1 with a conference record of 6-2-1.
