Switzerland County, Ind. — The Switzerland County Sheriff’s Department has made several arrests following two overdose deaths.
First responders found Larry Tingle, 53, and Jerry Lewis, 22, both of Vevay, unresponsive on May 20 in a residence on East State Road 56. Efforts to revive the pair were unsuccessful.
The investigation led to a search warrant at the property. As a result, George Harlow, 60, was arrested for possession of narcotics, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance. Shane Hopkins, 29, was arrested for maintaining a common nuisance and possession of narcotics. Buster Harlow, 39, was arrested for possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.
Indiana State Police troopers assisted with the investigation.
