Batesville Wrestling continued their postseason traveling to Richmond for regionals. Three Bulldogs competed with 2 moving on to semi-state. Sophomore Alex Murphy competed at 113. He lost his opening match to the regional runner up. Murphy finished his season with a 31-10 record. Senior JT Linkel finished 4th at 145. Linkel won his first match by tech fall. Jt lost his next 2 matches. Sophomore Josh Mobley won his first match 10-3. Mobley lost in the semifinals before winning his final match to finish 3rd place. As a team, the Bulldogs finished 15th with 16.5 points. Bhs will next compete at semi-state in New Castle next Saturday.
