Osgood hires two new police officers

Osgood, IN — The Town of Osgood has hired two new police officers.

Town Marshal Daniel Craig has been in law enforcement for more than 20 years and comes to Osgood from the Lawrenceburg Police Department.

He is a 2002 graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.

“Alex and I are honored to serve as your police officers,” Craig said.

Deputy Alex Wilhelm previously served with the Community Health Network Police Department in Indianapolis.

Wilhelm attended the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in 2022 with the Tier II 2022-24 class.

He is an Oldenburg native, a graduate of Oldenburg Academy, and lives in Batesville with his family.

“We look forward to getting to know the residents more and helping to meet the Osgood community’s needs,” Wilhelm said.

“Osgood is fortunate to have two experienced police officers joining the ranks of our department,” said Town Council President Chris Kuhn.
