The Ohio River Valley Conference has released its weekly report for the period ending December 10.
Congratulations to ORVC Players and Performers of the Week from Ripley County schools.
Kaiya Rinear from Milan is the Girls’ Basketball Player of the Week. In two games, Rinear scored 47 points, grabbed 36 rebounds, and shot 77 percent from the free-throw line.
Milan teammates Parker Sutherlin and Dylan Thomas were co-Performers of the Week in Boys’ Swimming, while Elizabeth McKittrick from South Ripley shared the honors in Girls’ Swimming with Rising Sun’s Sidney Halloran.
Sutherlin had top times during the week in the 200-yard free and 500-yard free, while Thomas had the best times in the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard IM.
McKittrick notched top times in both the 50 and 100 freestyle events
