Congratulations to South Ripley’s Cole Henry, who is the boys basketball Player of the Week in the latest edition of the ORVC Report.
Henry scored 139 points, pulled down 64 rebounds, blocked 11 shots and dished out 10 assists in seven games for the Raiders between December 23 and January 18.
He and teammate Blaine Ward were named co-MVPs of the Ripley County Tournament. Henry also became the leading rebounder in school history.
Ward poured in 74 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, had eight steals and six assists in three games between December 23 and 28. He was also the Southridge Tourney MVP.
Milan’s Micah Norman was the boys basketball Player of the Week for January 6-11 after a 19 point, four rebound, three assist and two steal game against South Ripley.
Congrats are also in order for the Milan boys and girls swim teams on their ORVC Championships.
