One killed, one injured in head-on collision west of Brookville

Franklin County, IN — One person is dead and another was taken to the hospital following a head-on crash in the area of US 52 east of Yellow Bank Road Wednesday afternoon. Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the accident scene west of Brookville just before 1:30 pm.

The Sheriff’s Office says a Chevrolet Silverado pulling a small utility trailer was eastbound on 52 when the driver went left of center in a curve and collided head-on with a Kia Soul.
