One injured in Ripley County crash

Ripley County, In. — A two-vehicle accident injured a Holton man on August 29.

A report from the sheriff’s department says a car driven by Michael Prince, 33, of Holton, was westbound on U.S. 50 near Old Michigan Road when another car driven by Amy Hobbs, 30, of Versailles entered the intersection from Old Michigan Road. Prince was unable to avoid a collision and struck Hobbs.

Hobbs was not injured. Prince was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

A witness told police he saw Hobbs roll through the intersection without stopping. The accident remains under investigation.
