Omer Lee Washburn, age 88 of Batesville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the first born of 13 children to Denver and Marjorie (Caster) Washburn on October 8, 1935 in Shelby County, IN.
Omar was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Batesville Ward. He worked at Levensteins Carpet in Greensburg, IN for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Kathryn Washburn along with his daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Charles Deikoff and one granddaughter, Jessica Deikoff.
Visitation will be Friday, November 10, 2023 from 10-11am with funeral services immediately following at 11:00am, all at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Batesville Ward, 422 N. Township Line Rd., Batesville, IN 47006. Burial will follow at 1:30pm in the South Park Cemetery, Greensburg.
