LAWRENCEBURG, IN — A pair of Lawrenceburg natives and Olympic medalists are returning this weekend for a welcome home celebration.
Nick Goepper and Justin Schoenefeld will be at Perfect North Slopes at 3 pm Sunday. They’ll sign autographs and pose for pictures during the event.
Goepper won Silver in the Free Ski Slopestyle event at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. He took home the Bronze in 2014 and the Silver medal in 2018 in the same event.
Schoenefeld returned from his Olympic debut with a Gold medal in Mixed Team Aerials.
Both Goepper and Schoenefeld trained and honed their skills at Perfect North.
