Officials say slow down and use caution due to weather

Southeastern, IN—Snow is continuing to fall this morning in southeastern Indiana with additional snow accumulations of up to one inch possible in the region according to the National Weather Service. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.

Officials are asking drivers to please slow down and use caution while traveling.  There have been several reports of accidents in Decatur, Franklin, and Switzerland Counties though no roads have been closed.  Crews have been dispatched to help clear the roads. 

A quick-moving, low-pressure system will offer a chance for light snow Saturday. All in total by Saturday, there could be up to 2 inches of snow in some areas including Decatur, Jennings, and Jefferson Counties according to the National Weather Service Prediction Center in Indianapolis.
