Both offenses came to play on Monday, but it was Jac-Cen-Del who ran away with the game late in a 22-12 win over South Ripley.
The Raiders tied the game at 12 after a 6 run bottom of the sixth. The Eagles offense, however, would respond, scoring 10 runs in the top of the seventh inning to seal the win.
Jac-Cen-Del’s Olivia Strunk went 2-3 with a double and 3 RBI. Morgan Meyer batted 3-4 with 4 RBI.
Bailey Groth got the win on the mound for the Eagles, striking out 4 and walking 7 while giving up 12 earned runs on 15 hits.
Brooklyn Brown was saddled with the loss, giving up 14 earned runs while walking 7 and striking out 5.
