NWS determines straight-line wind damage in Decatur County

Greensburg, IN—Damage in Decatur County from the storm system that swept through on Saturday, June 15 has been determined by the National Weather Service to be straight-line wind damage.

The most extensive damage was to a property near the intersection of 700 s. and 800 W.  There was complete destruction of a detached garage and debris from the garage and other structures on the property were carried by winds nearly one mile east/northeast.  There were other reports of damage near 700 S. between 700 and 1000 W.
