State Police say a woman led troopers on that high-speed chase, and had drugs and paraphernalia in her vehicle.

A trooper attempted to stop a vehicle drive by Sabrina E. Richman, 23, of North Vernon on US 50 near State Road 262 for a traffic violation.

According to police, instead of stopping, she sped off in excess of 90 mph.

Police say that the right front tire of her vehicle blew, and after nearly five miles, she crashed the vehicle into a guardrail before coming to a stop.

Richman was found to be in need of medical attention, but police say the injuries were not a result from the crash.

Richman will face various charges after being released from the hospital.
