The Lady Charger Varsity Volleyball team travelled to Martinsville Saturday for a tournament and the Chargers ended up 1-2 on the day. First, the team played Martinsville and took them to 3 sets (21-25, 25-16, 5-15), but had too many ball control errors and sent too many free balls to win the game. Chargers then played Jasper and lost in 2 (16-25, 14-25). Finally, the Lady Chargers played Mt. Vernon and in a tough match to 3 sets, pulled ahead to win (19-25, 25-22, 15-9)! Senior Ella Kunz played a great game against Mt. Vernon with 4 solo blocks, 14 kills, and no hitting errors!
