Greensburg, IN – The North Decatur Lady Chargers hosted the Switzerland County Lady Pacers Wednesday night, looking to improve to 3-1 on the season.
This game was all North Decatur from the tip. The Chargers jumped out to a 14-6 lead at the end of the first quarter and the best was yet to come in the first half. In the second quarter, they outscored the Pacers 26-8, taking a 40-14 lead into halftime. A great defensive effort in the first half is what created offense for North Decatur.
In the second half, just when you thought the defensive effort couldn’t get any better, the Chargers washed away any of that doubt, only allowing 4 points to the Pacers. They piled on 23 points of their own to add to a huge 63-18 victory.
Leading the way for the Lady Chargers was Madi Allen, who had an outstanding performance, posting 26 points. Clare Kinker also had a solid outing with 10 points. Following those two in the scoring column are listed below.
North Decatur improves to 3-1 on the year and will look to continue their win streak, which currently sits at 3 vs. Knightstown on the road. That game will be held this Saturday, tip off at 11 AM.
