The Chargers played their home opener on the Prairie course at North Branch on Friday, earning the win over Rushville. North Decatur won by 31 strokes, scoring 181, while Rushville put up a score of 212.
Carson Parmer was the meet medalist with a score of 37, 2-over par. Jack Koehne and Owen Eldridge carded 46s, and Austin Gould and Cooper Parmer added scores of 52.
The Chargers JV also got to play against Rushville. Scott Morford led the way with a 49, Mason Smith and Brayden Yeager both shot 56, and Micah Smith shot a 60.
The Chargers varsity plays next in the Greenwood Invite Saturday, April 8th.
