The North Decatur Chargers boys varsity basketball team closed out their regular season Thursday night with a win, narrowly defeating Rushville 43-40. 
North Decatur was led in scoring by Blake Spears, who finished with 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists.
Other scorers for the Chargers included:
Lance Nobbe with 14 points and 8 rebounds
Kaden Muckerheide with 7 points and 2 rebounds
Conner Linkmeyer with 2 points and 6 rebounds

The Chargers end the regular season with their 19th win, improving their record to 19-5.
The Chargers next game is on Friday, March 3, at and against South Ripley in the semi-final round of Sectional 45.
