The North Decatur 8th grade boys track team competed at Tri Thursday night, falling to the host school 72-28.
However, the Chargers had some great performances.
The 4 x 100-meter relay team set a new PR with 56 seconds. Branden McBride set a new PR of 15’5″ in the long jump, taking 2nd. He also finished 2nd in the 200-meter and 100-meter dashes.
Simon Barber took 2nd in hurdles, and Evan Cherry took 2nd in the 400-meter dash with an incredible finish.
Overall, it was a great night of PR’s for North Decatur.
