North Decatur Boys 8th grade ended the season with a convincing win over visiting Northside Middle School-Columbus. Great defense helped North jump out early and the Chargers never trailed at any point in the game. Good defense led to an 11-point half-time lead, holding the visitors to only 7 first-half points. North continued to dominate play in the second half but poor free throw shooting (4-16) kept the Chargers from a larger margin of victory. As the game ended the Chargers had another double-digit victory. North 8th grade boys finished with a record of 17-3 on the season including a 9-0 mark in Mid Hoosier Conference play. The team won their last 13 games in a row which included no losses in this calendar year.
